ORIGIN OF GOD – GOD IS SOMEBODY TO LEAN ON

ORIGIN OF GOD – GOD IS SOMEBODY TO LEAN ON: – There is a theory that God is man made for selfish reasons. Because man needs somebody to lean on, needs somebody to blame, needs somebody to ask for and needs somebody to thank for everything.

Yes it is true, we human-beings need somebody to lean on in times of sorrow, some body to give thanks in times of happiness, some body to curse or blame in case of failures and somebody to be grateful in case of success. That somebody was created or imagined by learned people to be GOD.

Why does man, in every nation, in every state of society, want a perfect ideal somewhere, either in man or in God or elsewhere? Because the ideal is within you. It was your own heart beating and you did not know that it is God within you that is impelling you to seek him, to realize him. After long searches here and there, in temples and churches, on earth and in Heaven, at last you come back to your own Soul. You find that whom you have been seeking all over the world, for whom you have been weeping and praying in churches and temples, on whom you were looking as the mystery of all mysteries, shrouded in the clouds, is the nearest of the near, is your own self, the reality of your life, body, and Soul. The infinite self is the real nature of every man.

The vast majority of our quarrels with one another arise simply from this one cause: that we are always trying to judge others’ Gods by our Gods, other’s ideals by our ideals, and other’s motives by our motives.

The God of heaven becomes the God in nature and God in nature becomes the God who is Nature, and the God who is nature becomes the God within this temple of the Body, and the God dwelling in the temple of body at last becomes the temple itself, becomes the Soul and Man.

What is the origin of GOD? If God created matter/energy, and designed the system that has propelled matter in to its present arrangement, who or what accomplished that for God? Why is it anymore reasonable to believe that God has always “been’ than is to say that matter has always “been”. The problem here is that many people have a mistaken concept of God. If we conceive of God as physical, anthropomorphic (like man) being, the question of God’s origin is valid, but in reality God is a Spiritual entity.

He exists outside of the three-dimensional, physical world we live in. Not only is God described as being outside space, but he is also described as being outside of time. If God exists outside of time and space and if he is the creator of time and space, He obviously was not created! God began the beginning.
